Frist Trad Bird

Finally got my first trad turkey but it was not without adventure. After the shot he flew up into a tree. About two minutes later he crashed down. I waited about 20 minutes then went over to find him. Couldn't find him and while searching he jumps up next to me and flew off. I decided to give him some more time. About a hour later I went to where I saw him go down and was able to recover him. Not a long beard but still a nice bird for number one with my Titan. One side of the breast is in the crock pot for tonights dinner. Creamed turkey!

That's awesome. I have had a couple fly off over the years, and never been able to locate them! Glad you found him.
Congrats,
Bisch

Thanks everyone. Pretty excited over this. I love turkey hunting as much as anything and too take one with my recurve has been at the top of my hunting list. I got a new pot call this year from Chain Reaction Game calls and it has some of the best sounds I have ever made from a slate call. The new call along with my DSD Jake has been deadly this year.
