Did a 32 mile hike through the Big Horns last summer. Had a bull moose roll through camp at 5 yards. Of course my air bow was at full draw:) I envy greatly the opportunity. Wish you the best!

Man you guys draw early! Up here in Alberta, the draw doesn't open until May 3, and closes June 22. Results aren't available until July 12th!  Congratulations on your draw! I am hunting for the first time this fall, so I'm not banking on winning any this round, but I am going to try for an archery Mule Deer buck, anyway.

good luck!!  Drew mine a couple years ago in area 34 and got it with my 54# pronghorn 3pc longbow.  Great adventure and fun as hell chasing the swamp donkey!!  Go get em!!!

hunting moose is the best!! I have had no adventure as exciting as hearing a moose breaking trees as he comes to the call. Thrilling and Frightening at the same time. Best of luck to you.

Congratulations!

One of my most exciting wildlife encounters involved a monster bull moose in a high beaver meadow off the highway between Lovell and Sheridan on a Tuesday afternoon, September 1985.  I got within 12 yards of a bull that was bow-killed the next morning (opener) by a bowhunter from Sheridan.  The bull was the world record with bow for a while.

I didn't have a tag. I was elk hunting the next morning.
