Good luck Charlie!!  It's not an easy job but I know you'll do fine. There's a ton of responsibility attached to it as I'm sure you know.

It will be great to have you back home Charlie, now I will have someone to shoot with again and to explore the 2 farms and locate the elusive whitetails that roam them.
See you very soon,
Dad

Some of the BEST deer hunting around is central Wisconsin!  (where I live up north... ehhh... not so much.  :(
Best of luck with the move and welcome.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I grew up in Wisconsin and was able to get back periodically for hunting. So I know what to expect in that regard.

I shadowed the communication center where I will be working and have to say I look forward to working with professionals.

I also look forward to the PBS convention coming up in Madison.

I will miss the mountains and the incredible trout rivers. I will miss the ocean and the nights I spent on the Mighty Hudson River fishing for stripers. It is a tidal river thus flowing both ways and partly where my handle cones from.

Distance doest separate friendship though.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Guys,
Where are you shooting this Sunday? Charlie, it was a pleasure to meet you at Tollgate Archery a few years ago and was hoping to shoot with you again, but if that isn't possible then I want to wish you the very best in your new position and location. Hopefully you will continue to contribute to this site under the same handle. May God bless.

Rick

There is a 3/D at Guan ho Ha F&G near Scotia N.Y. A few of us are going.......last time to shoot with Charlie, here at least......lol.

Thanks fellas. I will miss shooting with all the fine people I've met out here in NY and the guys I used to shoot with at 3d shoots and video Archery.

I know Wisconsin has a great heritage and a very good amount of archers.

Ron is correct, we are shooting at Guan Ho Ha. It's the same club that hosted my wedding reception in 2006. The game plan is to start shooting at 9.

Sounds like we will have a great representation of archers Sunday. Hope to see you Dan. Hope you can make it Rick but understand the distance is a definitely a deterrent especially for a couple hours.
Relax,

You'll live longer!
