Cari-Bow Peregrine or Amisk
« on: May 29, 2017, 03:36:00 PM »
Question for you Cari-Bow Peregrine and Amisk owners.
I shoot split finger with a 29.5 inch draw and have been trying to decide between these two Cari-Bows (and yes I did get Abe's 2 cents) .

Wondering if there are any Cari-Bow owners with long draws who shoot the Peregrine, and with a 29.5 draw should I go Peregrine or Amisk (as the Amisk is essentially a 64" Peregrine or close to it)

If you like 64" bows you will like the 62" Peregrine just fine and enjoy shooting it.  You will also frequently think it would be perfect if it was 64".  My vote goes to the Amisk.   Best,  Tom.

you aren't going for the featherhorn?

you aren't going for the featherhorn?  are you getting a two piece?

Reading the info on Abe's site I'd lean to the Amisk.

I have the same draw length as you and I have shot both the 60" slynx and 62" silver fox. I found both comfortable to shoot however the 62" was a little smoother for me so I ordered a perigrine that I am still waiting on.

Leaning towards the 64" Amisk just because my 64" ACS is so smooth out to 29.5 . I'd love to know how smooth the 62" Peregrine is at my draw.
