Question on Stu Miller's spine calculator
« on: June 07, 2017, 08:57:00 PM »
I have a question about this spine calculator with respect to footing.

I'm using 100 grain hit inserts that are 1.5 inches long. In the footing section I enter 0.6" for footing length and 40 grains for the weight. What do I do about the remaining 60 grains of insert weight?
Old doesn't start until you hit three figures...and then it's negotiable

I just use 100 grains for insert and no footing.
