Has anyone used on of these to cut aluminum arrows? For less than $14, it looks way cheaper than investing in an arrow saw. I am a little concerned about how squarely they cut though.

You can get the same thing at any hardware store.
Personally I wouldn't buy one, I can never get a clean square cut with them.
I bought a 4" ( might be 6") table saw from harbor freight tools.the small craft one, Works on wood, aluminum and carbon.

I use one. I get decent cuts with it and then square it up on a G5 Arrow Squaring Tool. Works perfectly.

Go to Lowe's, plumbing section. Kobalt brand tubing cutter, $7. Good square. A chamfer / deburr tool for about $15 is a nice compliment, but not a necessity.

Let it take its time cutting...several round trips before adjusting a wee-bit tighter. You cannot tightening it down too much at once and expect good results. Take it easy and let the wheel do its thing, very small tightening at a time after several times around. I've used one for years with no problems whatsoever...cuts straight.

I have one very simular to the one in catalog. I still keep it in my car tackle box for emergency. I used it to do my first ever arrow tuning back when. It works for ones and twos but more shafts than that I am looking for a miter box and razor saw. Going slow and tightening the knob a little each turn is best advise. When done cutting you need to chamfer inside of shaft. I used 6" double cut file tang for that. If cut was not square I used the file to square up the end.
These days I use my Harbor Frieght $25 cutoff saw for woods, aluminum and carbons
