Your item listing was marked paid please let us know if that item never gets marked paid ....

.we ask in how the auction Works thread to make sure that you do not ship until the item is marked paid but there are always cases where this does not happen

If we paid for our item, how do we know if/when our item was shipped?

Just PM or email donor to work out shipping.

Very good question.  Typically, I have found the donor of the merchandise keeps an eye on their item(s) and sees when they are marked paid, then contacts the lucky winner(s) to get shipping info.  Conversely, when the winning bidder sees her or his payment has been received, she or he contacts the generous donor to set up shipping.  It's all about communicating.  Pretty simple and stress free, from my experiences.  And please be patient, give the moderators some time, as they are likely buried soon after the auction ended.  Gotta give special thanks to the mods for putting this auction on    :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:

Curiously, i have not been communicated with by the donor.

I'm sure it's simply an oversight and/or matter of time....

Not everyone checks in every day.  Sometimes life gets in the way.  Be patient and give them a few days.  If nothing, then politely contact them.

Thanks for helping the kids!

I contacted all the donors that I won the bid on and gave them my address so when it's marked paid they can ship. All of them got right back to me. Seems to be a well oiled machine.

Again, please be patient.  It's only been a day.  And thanks for bidding, the kids will appreciate you generosity    :clapper:

Yeah, sorry about that....i'm not usually so up-tight...

Sometimes my "work hyper-drive" spills over into my personal stuff. Ugh.

Usually, i'm glacially patient...

Sorry...

It's a two way street. It's ok to contact donor as Ron suggested. I usually send a thank you and my address telling them when payment approval is posted here's the address. Also good ediquett to let them know it arrives.

I contact all the donors after I have settled up.  I send a pm letting them know that I have paid and where to ship the item after the moderators get it marked as paid.

I have always had all of the donors let me know when the item is shipped, and in return, let them know when it arrives.

I thank them for the donation, and it seems everyone thanks me for bidding.
