Something new offered by Maddog
« on: June 20, 2017, 07:53:00 PM »
I've had so many Customers ask me if I offered something like this, so recently it prompted me to try a few things.

Here's what I came up with.

This is what I'm calling "The follower Extreme" longbow.  It's traditional, "D" profile, string follow bow. In lengths from 66" - 69".  It's already been done, I realize that, but of all the attempts I've made over the years to build one, this is the first one I've made that is smooth and fast enough to offer.  Lot's of testing of different taper rates on my lams and such and I'm happy with how this one has turned out. Very little, if any, hand shock, and plenty fast.  It'll be available in 2 piece take down as well.

Very nice looking bow!

It also has the largest string silencer I have ever seen - and so close to the nock-point!

I have a 2pc Follower Extreme. Its a wonderful longbow and my first SF. Mike did a great job on this design; and its just a pleasure to shoot.

Mike, how long of a draw will these accommodate?
