This bow was made with Pheasantwood (hard to see in pictures, but the wood grain looks almost like a feather)...a wood native to the Hawaiian Islands...a buddy who lives there made this bow for me in 2007...it's done some work...

Thanks. I did build both bows. There both creations of my imagination. . Got a new one in the works that should be a looker. Just don't tell the wife she said I've made enough.    :D    :rolleyes:

Wow! Hats off to you Brush!
A big part of the reason I like trad bows, and recurve style risers,wether long bow limbs or recurve, is the art in the wood work and the beauty of the woods used.
