Kentucky Afield, the longest continuously running outdoor program in the country (Since 1953), recently did a show with me at our new hunting property. We discussed Fred Bear's influence, and how I've been attempting to inspire (with my magazine covers)   KET/PBS   people to experience their own outdoor memories with family and friends.

I will post links to the show, which aired over Father's Day weekend. It's also on YouTube.

Fantastic! I think it really touched on some of the many reasons we do what we do. I especially liked the story about the grandson's blind where he learned to tie a knot. It reminded me of my time with my grandfather, who is a big reason I became an outdoorsman and bow hunter.

That was great, Gary.  Sat down and watched it with my son.  He enjoyed it as well!

Thanks. It was a pleasure to talk to them on camera about Fred Bear's influence, not to mention the value of making outdoor memories with family and close friends.
