Heat and Gear

I have a question about leaving bows and wood arrows in a hot car.
What do you think?
I try to not leave them in a vehicle but its gets hard while on a trip or hunting with extras. Does it matter? Will it hurt them. In a car in Florida in the summer it can get pretty warm.

Never leave a braced bow in a car and don't string a bow that has been left in a car until you absolutely positive it has cooled completely, inside and out. Arrows that have gotten hot can change spine temporarily because the heat can soften the material used for them, especially wood.

Pat is exactly right. I transport my bowsinawhite PVC tube in heat and a black one when it's cold. Check fletching for glue adherence as well.
