How do you tell the difference visually of say a dacron string and a fast flight string? Thank you!

Some can tell by looking, but not me.

Fast flight type stuff melts when exposed to a flame and dacron burns...but not a good idea to try with a string on your bow  :-)

If it's Flemish, you can trim a tag end with (good) nail clippers.  Dacron will clip clean, but they won't cut through any of the high performance materials.
