Have you heard of Old Mountain?
«

I recently saw a new brand of bows - apparently trying to compete with Samick - called old Mountain archery. AS I teach archery and I have students looking for entry level bows, I like to be able to give them some brands to look at. Doe anyone here know about them or any sponsors sell them?
Thanks!

I think they are samick or former samick employees.
Something like that. Don't know much else about them

Yes they are comparable, they might even be October Mountain Products rebranded, can't say for sure.

OK I couldn't resist. I went to my local shop, which now carries these, and shot a couple of models.
First - the fit and finish is good. Better than you'd expect at the price point.
Second - the bows shot just fine. again better than you'd expect for the money.
Third - they were on sale.
I bought a #45 Edge longbow for $140.
Holy crap! if they hold up, they could be the best buy out there!
