Been a long time since I attended
Any you guys going and what are the dates. I know it's in nice
hot August.

Also where are they holding it now days.

Lived in McAlest most of my life till I moved in '05, but never owned a trad bow during that time. Now I wished I had.

"The Southern Plains Traditional Shoot at McAlester is on. Shoot dates are Aug 5 & 6. Shooting starts as soon as day light permits. Longbow and recurve shoot on Saturday. Selfbow shoot on Sunday.

As for all the particulars I don't have answers. I am mostly out of the loop due to complications.

We should try to get some of us TG'ers gathered and shoot a round together. I know I had a great time shooting with Jason (jt85) & Darren (can't remember his screen name right now) a couple of years ago. I need to shoot a round with Michael so he can show me how it's done!

Everybody else, I'm still game to shoot with other TG guys. But I will warn you, I'm notorious for running later than I'd like, so it may be at a hotter part of the day. If someone wants to pick a time & place to meet up, I'll try to make it on time....
