OK,OK  I’m back to finish this! Honestly I apologize for taking soooo long on this but those of you who have active teenagers know how things can be at times .


Megan’s first deer!! Taken with a recurved-selfbow  that she helped build and cedar arrows she made herself.

 


She made an excellent shot and we had a short recovery, I could not have asked for anything better. Not bad for a 17yr old GIRL!!! She now has some bragging rights when some of the “boys” give her a hard time about not hunting much. Look out guys this is only the beginning! Now not only can she out shoot most of us but she can also bring home the table fare.

I’m a proud Papa!!!

Kinda hard to tell from the photo who is the proudest! Good job Megan! I could hear "it" in your voice when you called me yesterday. I am here to tell you other tradgangers that Megan is a very special young lady and she comes from a pretty special set of parents too. I am proud to be included in their families circle friends!

BTW, Megan... can you do a arrow build along? I know I would like to see how a Female make their arrows... Since You took a Very Nice Deer...
