Red Wing Hunter yard sale rescue
« on: July 12, 2017, 11:03:00 AM »
Found a beautiful Red Wing Hunter bow lying on the driveway at a yard sale.  I only shot as a kid and teen, but I could see this baby needed to be saved!
She's got hand numbered specs:
58"
R-3457
46#
Both decals are gold and green and look great.  No structural damage.  Local archery store did say it was in great shape, wouldn't say much more because another guy tried to buy it from me when I walked in.
She's also a lefty.
Any thoughts on this bow? I'll try to post pics.

They are amazingly great shooters, honestly shoot as good or better than some customs.  With a well made B50 string and the right brace height they are surprisingly quiet. Try posting the pics again if you can. Use the links with [img] bracketing them.

I hope you get the pics worked out. I have one with those exact specs, so I am interested in seeing yours.

One of my favorites.  Classic whitetail hunting bow.

I have a 53# one with the shelf on the correct side.  Great shooting bow, and yes, it is a very quiet bow.  46# is about perfect for most N America hunting.
