Help Me Get This One Shooting
« on: November 03, 2007, 09:08:00 PM »
I just put together my heaviest board bow to date.  All the others have been in the 40 - 50 pound range.  This hickory is well tillered at 57# at 28".  I was hoping that the Gold Tip 35/55's with a 210 grain BH's would fly true out of it as they do with my 51# Hickory bow.  Well, they do fly true but very left of point of aim.  The riser wasn't cut out for the arrow pass as much on this bow so that could be the issue but it seems pretty severe.  Do I need to address the spine of the arrows or is there another road to look down?  Thanks

flies true, hits left, your to stiff, not much, try the same arrow and tip but about 1" longer and go from there.
