You know, converting that bow into a two piece bow is not going to be cheap, and there is always the risk that you're not going to like the result, since this type of conversion is not commonly done.
I wouldn't have made this post before I saw the photo of the bow, but it is so beautiful, I would want to keep it that way.
Find a used two or three piece bow, hopefully with a few dings already in it that will reduce the cost and the pain when you get dings of your own in the future. Subtract the cost you will save by not remodeling your bow, and the used bow will turn out to be a bargain.
