I had a few critter encounters in the N Ga mtns this weekend as well. Opening morning I got into a small sow with two legal size cubs at about ten yards. They all got a pass. Later I had a bobcat come down the ridge I was sitting on. No encounters yesterday eve.

This mornimg I got winded right off the bat by a big boar hog, then shortly after missed a lone coyote. On the way back down the mountain, I had a decent bear cross the trail in front of me. I had him inside twenty yards for a couple minutes but in the stuff he was in, I couldnt judge what was what so I just watched him stroll down the valley.  Pretty good weekend for tough conditions. Tooooonnns of acorns this year
