Well, the TX guys got here and brought heat with them. 97* their first day here!!
Cool front this morn, cloudy and overcast and 68* , sprinkles once in awhile.
I had to work, but got a text from Barry around 8:00 AM, says Mike shot a nice buck.
Before I could answer, another text says ... I just did too!!
Wow, this is getting good. They both sat tight for a bit, Mike's went on tree farm so I text the owners and they say go for it, find him.
Good neighbors are the best!! I share pics and info with them and they can come get their deer on the lease too!
Now then, I take off work and go to the North farm where both are , they have the field dressing done, so I took some pics for them and with their permission, here are a couple.
I hope they add their stories tonite.
I'm not fond of truck pics, but we didn't get the whole crew in field pics, this one is pretty good too!!
4th day here and first day not sweltering, they both made excellent shots and quick recovery!!
Way to go guys!!
