Friday the 13th not bad luck after all.
« on: October 17, 2017, 02:38:00 PM »
The past evening of Friday 13, 2017 I finally was able to take an 18.5 inch wide 8 pointer with a Kentuckian flatbow that was given to me by my best friend Jimmy Meadows a few years back. I have been bowhunting since the age of 12 and now Im 51, I have taken many deer with recurve, longbow and compound. This night I killed my best buck with this Kentuckian Flatbow, the buck was 6 yards from the tree I was in and only went 80 yards. This kentuckian flatbow means so much to me. I practice daily with it. The bow is 62@ 27 and I pull to 29" I shoot 30" Goldtip 5575's tipped with a 150 grain Tusker Javeline broadhead.

trying to post a pic.... Thank you all and God Bless.

Well done and looking forward to seeing that Va. buck.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
