While I've heard NOTHING but good about them and I would have loved to try a couple of their products out, I doubt they will ever get my business. I tried for several
months to get in touch with them to order two of their packs and never once got to speak with anyone. I tried 3-4 emails, 3-4 voicemails, asked a personal friend of the owner (who was going on a hunt with them in a couple of days at the time) to forward my contact information, and even wrote and mailed them a letter. I still to this day have not heard or been sent a letter/email response or reply.
As best I can figure, they simply don't want my business and have plenty enough to keep them busy without me. I bought a Tenzing for my small fanny pack and a Badlands for my larger fanny pack. When I called both Tenzing and Badlands customer service lines I got someone to pick up right away and answer my few questions and honestly both packs are serving their respective purposes extremely well. I wanted a Gopher or Outfitter (wanted to talk about the differences in organization) for half day hunts and spring time hunts and a Lost River pack for all day hunts or winter hunts where I had more clothing to bring in. I've since moved on.
I would have been fine with a waiting period on some custom Bison Gear packs but if they can't even pick up a phone to take an order, I certainly can't justify sending them money and expecting them to deliver a product more less stand behind their warranty on said product if it fails and I can't even get in touch with anyone to talk about it. I truly do think their designs look superb on paper. I love the idea of wool as the material. I wish I would have had a different experience with them though. They look like great products, but they just haven't earned my trust as a company even if I could get in touch with them today based off my previous experiences (or lack there of) with them.
