Test drove the 1-7/8" German Kinetic head
« on: November 06, 2007, 07:43:00 PM »
I thought I had a fool proof plan to get a shot at a Hog this weekend. I Hauled 900 gallons of water to a dried up wallow. I figure as dry as it was I would have every pig on the place coming to visit. The pigs did show up. They pretty much stayed all night and were there when I showed up the next morning. What I didn't plan on was how many deer it would draw. I was covered up with them. after about a hour I couldn't stand it anymore and decided I needed to do a test run with the new broad heads. When a doe turned just right I smacked her and watched her run about 40 yards before piling up. It was not 5 minutes before the others were back and you will see them walking around on top of the bloody arrow. I am now down to one tag left that I can use at the BAO.

Great video work! I really enjoyed it.  Those broadheads are wicked looking, I might have to try some.  1 7/8", thats a meat cleaver.

I just figured out how to view it..That was super Buff...That video was done outstanding. What kind of camera you using? BTW, you probably know this or him but that 1 7/8" GK head was made for a Texan I think? I just bought some left overs..I have shot one doe with mine within 10 yards....keep it coming..

Buff,
What is the weight on the broadhead? I have some Silverflames but have not seen or heard about the one you just tested. Where did you get it?

Thanks, Louis

Stunning footage Buff. Very professional camerawork & editing. A pretty good lesson in shot placement too!
The new Silver Flame looks spectacular (If a little Art-Deco  :D )

Buff, you going to bring those back to Africa with you ? I enjoyed the ride to and from camp with you, wish we could have stayed in the same camp. Don't let Joebuck fool you, his wife is a model, he knows how to take pictures.
