Opinions on Great Plains Swift Longcurve and Fox Breed
« on: November 22, 2017, 08:49:00 AM »
I'm looking to get a 50's style recurve and have narrowed it down to these two choices.  I've shot a Breed at Kalamazoo and have shot several Great Plains bows, but not the Swift Loncurve.  Both bowyers make great bows and their craftsmanship is impeccable.  I will be getting a two piece takedown.  The Breed would be 62" and the Great Plains is made in 58", my DL is 28".  Not sure if anyone has any experience with these two particular bows, but just wanted to ask for opinions.  Thanks!

I handled some great plains bows at etar. really like the long curve . The one thing for me was his bulky horn string nocks. they take away from his bows for me. the great northern ghost is a great bow and I love my kota killum
