I concentrate on late season primary food sources and also call.

Captured 4000 pics from one set over the last four days. This particular set was, by far, my worst set during the pre-rut and rut. Only saw three deer at long range in 6 hunts.

Had two hours solid of deer traffic yesterday afternoon.

The food source is the key here as well, but it needs to be one that is not getting harassed.  Last year in late February rabbit hunting at a large farm grove.  I can play tunes on my grunt call, at the car I played of bit of the El Capitan,  ,  on my deer call.  A buck came at us out of the grove.  I think I may try calling this late season.  I got bit by 12 pointer fever and held off on every shooting opportunity on lesser deer during the regular season, he was a big bugger.
