A pair of killers
« on: January 22, 2018, 09:34:00 PM »
The boys dug out their old longbows today for the first time in quite a while. They had a blast flinging arrow after arrow. The poor bows have grown too small I think but they held up well. The boys caught the bug. They have been on me wanting to go and try out recurves later this week lol. I’m trying to hide my joy as I’ve enjoyed an afternoon of no video game talk and the look of genuine fun on my boys faces as they enjoyed time outdoors. My oldest is mildly autistic and has a hard time with most sports  due to physical developmental delays. But he’s had a great afternoon and has been talking non stop about fletching his own arrows lol. Man I hope this continues

That's awesome!!! Keep them slinging arrows, I know that archery and a love for the outdoors kept me out of a lot of trouble as a young man.
