Question about bear bows

What is the significance of the blue line in risers? Or there is not significance? Also got a mid 70's Kmag coming in green futurewood with a blue stripe. Never seen that before.

The blue stripe appeared in the Kodiak Hunter, Super Kodiak, Super Magnum 48 and the Kodiak Magnum from the mid 70s until the move to Gainesville. Of those, the SK and the SM48 were made with the blue stripe in 75 and 76 only, if I can remember correctly. Not overly significant for the KH and KM.

KMags had the blue stripe in 76 & 77. But like you said all the greenie KH's had the blue stripe.

Kmags and KHs had the blue from 73-77 whereas the SK and SM48 had the blue stripe for only two years (75 & 76) making those two more sought after for those leaning on the collectible side.

That right - it's the blue on the tips and handle caps that came in in 76 - my bad.
