Bear k-4 or super Kodiak for deer hunting?
« on: January 29, 2018, 08:39:00 AM »
Does anyone have an opinion on hunting with one versus the other?  I'm really interested as the k-4 for a hunting bow.  I've been hunting with a #50 Montana and also shoot my #35 Kodiak 59.  I'd appreciate any insight.  Thanks!

Super kodiac for sure. That’s my opinion though.

I'd go with the SuperK, but what are going to get is our personal preferences.

Not trying to be a smart (you know), but it's the arrow that does the work and it doesn't care how it gets launched.

If I had a K4 it would definitely go hunting.    :)

Good point Monterey.  I will end up with both bows.  It's just really hard to decide what bow to get next.  Thanks for the opinions.

Getting both bows is a wise decision. You won’t be wondering if you should have bought the other. I have 2 SK’s but these days I like  a physically lighter bow for carrying around all day.

I say just get whatever you want the most and go from there.  Doesn't really matter.  K4 is 64" so it is a little longer unless of course you got a 64" SK instead of a 60".  If you're in a smaller ground blind it may make a difference in the heat of the moment.
