Grizzly single bevel broadheads

Just used them for the first time and they performed great. Killed 4 hogs on a Florida trip and got great penetration on all of them. Sharpened really easy on my Hewlett jewel stick and finished them off by stropping on leather. Great heads!

Pretty much the same results I've had with them as well.

Yep. Me too. I'd like to see them as advertised a real 1 1/8" wide. They measure about an inch. Penetration is more than needed for whitetails. I shot through this buck from the rear ham to the front shoulder. Complete pass through. A 1 3/16" grizzly would be nice.

This year is the first year that I really gave them an honest try. In past years (before I knew better) I used right bevel heads on left wing arrows. I also didn't "know" how to sharpen them well. Well this year I got it right. I hit a couple of deer high (backbone) and experienced penetration like never before with any broadhead. I nearly shot thru the backbone of a spike buck and buried one so deep in a big old banana nose doe's backbone that I nearly couldn't pull it out. I'm shooting a 45 pound recurve with only a 27 inch draw (on a good day) with 525 grain wooden arrows. Another doe left a bloodtrail that you could follow on a run. (and yes,she had the "L" shaped, single bevel exit wound). They mount straight, fly like a field point, sharpen up nice, are tough and penetrate like nothing I've ever experienced before. The only negative thing about them is they don't fit well in some quivers because they are so long and they don't make them in 140 grains anymore. I like 'em!

I too love these heads! My favorite of all times were the El Grande in 155grn. But love the standard 160 as well!

I use the 155 grain glue ons as well. I've only shot a couple deer with them so far, but the results were impressive. The doe I shot this year, I hit at the front part of her shoulder as she was angling away. Well, it wasn't ideal placement, but the grizzly busted through the front of the shoulder and came out the other side of the neck. The blood was unbelievable. I could see the blood sprayed everywhere while sitting in the stand.

I shot two does with the grizzly single bevel this year and the arrows zipped through the deer so fast that they didn't even react to the shot! The deer just walked away. They blood trail was good and both deer were down inside 100 yards.

Hard to beat those heads. I usually keep Simmons, abowyer, Zewickey etc in my quiver, but I always keep a grizzly as my go to.

After watching them being made believe me Fantastic bang for the buck. Easy to sharpen with a KME and diamond stones also and deadly.
