That's what I am talking about.  I am pretty content with what I own; 3 Bears, a Martin and a Great Plains, special only to me.

My favorite bow is the Sarrels Blueridge long riser takedown longbow. I own 4 of them. I quit looking around for different bows after I got my first one. The last 2 new bows I have bought have been Blueridges! I don’t really have a dream bow, as I already own it!!!

I own 5 bows right now.  If I could take features of each of them in a single bow, that'd be my dream.  Of course, if I DID that, it might turn out to be a dog!

My favorite is without a doubt a Zipper Zipstick, I have 2 of them.  A dream would be for Bill and Tom to come up with a good way to make them a 2 piece for traveling.

I had a friend that had a dream bow wish. Finally he ordered it and although I had broken my neck in a ladder fall I finally conceded to build one last bow especially for him. We named the bow Omega. Both of us came up with the name and felt it was a really strange thing. I had one stipulation ., No time limit because I was really in bad shape. So after about six months I finally got her built and man it was one awsome bow. He got it and was happy as a lark. Shooting it in his house because it was hurricaning in Texas where he lived.
His wife called me several days after he got the bow and told me how well it pleased him but that he had gone to be with Jesus in the middle of the night.
I was really blessed in that he passed a happy man and think of it often and miss our conversations. True story and it was the last bow I built. RIP Lelon Willis
Buy your dream bow if you can and enjoy it .

God bless, Steve

My dream bows have always been Bear S.K.'s, T/D's and Predators, and I have enough of both. I've never shot a Silvertip or Blacktail, I think I might be better off keeping it that way !

Gotta be realistic here as age and my pocketbook have caught up. Few years ago, it would have been a 56-inch '59 Kodiak in a lower draw weight like 40lb or lower.

I just have eight I hauk from FL to NY and back. Five are old rosewood recurves, but they are doing fine right now. My recurve bows need to have wood risers, draw back uniformly with no fingner pinch, shoot smooth, rise slowly to salute the shot, have good riser balance, and have wood with fine grain which is lined up well to the shape of the riser (no plywood looks or fat or wide grained woods) and be works of art.  Got some of them, so I'm OK this year.

I have four bows that I want to get my hands on. Two recurves and two longbows. A 50# 58” Black Widow PCH in Bocote, no red; a Tall Tines recurve, a Toelke Whip and a Big Jim Thunderchild. Boy, I got some work to do!

My dream bows would be a 64" Black widow longbow in the 55-60# range, a Toelke Whip with the same specs, and a timberhawk recurve. I absolutely love the way the riser fits my hand on them.

Just for kicks, I don't know if it exists, but if I could take my Abbott longbow and recurve the tips to get a little more speed, I think that would be my absolute dream bow.

I have been fortunate to try a lot of the top names out there, but have been pretty settled on TallTines recurves and longbows.

However lately I have really regretted not having Dale Dye build me a medicine point when I had the chance. I spoke to him about two years ago and never pulled the trigger..

I once only saw a picture of a Brakenberry Non-Typical. I have never seen one in person let alone held one.

For some reason the look and style of that bow has always been stuck in my mind. I guess if you still dream about a bow... its your dream bow, right?

I have been thinking a lot about the St. Charles Thunderbird recurve, dual shelf, 63", in the mid 40#s range.  I shot a couple of them at his place and they seemed as quiet as any longbow, even without string silencers.

I sure would like a Bear Supreme Take Down, or a Signature bow.
