I have always wanted a Palmer recurve, so I finally called
Mr. mike Palmer and bought one. I got the Bocote Classic. The riser is made from Bocote and Ebony, the limbs are carbon with Bocote veneers. 62 inches and 50#’s@30.
It is a great shooter, I am very pleased with it. I am going to use it during turkey season. I have been shooting longbows for a good while, so it’s taking a little adjusting.

While talking to Mr. Mike, we started talking about Fred Eichler using his Palmer recurve to complete the Trad Slam. I told Mr. Mike how much my son liked Fred Eichler. Mr. Mike asked me what my sons name was. When my bow arrived it had a signed cap and picture from Fred Eichler. To say that he was excited would be an understatement.

Classy move by Mr. Palmer to provide the youngster the hat and signed picture. That would seem to be in the category of exceeding expectations. Enjoy that bow. I think you will like it!
