Aggressive to Mild R&D 3 piece takedown ?

I am in the market for a R&D 3 piece takedown for ease of transport so...
I’d like to here different bowyer suggestions on this type of bow. I love the the lines on the R&D longbows, mild and aggressive.
I have a couple one piece, but I “NEED” a takedown!

TALL TINES STICKFLINGER! My favorite out of my 21 different custom bows. Have not tried a Sarrels Blueridge, i like their profile as well. Then there is a pronghorn or black canyon. For me the stickflinger has alk the qualities im looking for. Smooth, ultra quiet, zippy and dead in the hand. I have a 62" and a 60"  that 60" is just as smooth as my 62" @ 28"

I have personally shot the Pronghorn and Northern Mist 3 piece longbow. They are both great. Also Yellowstone custom bows makes an extremely nice 3 piece longbow.

Another vote for Primal Tech. I have a 3 piece takedown Randy made me that is absolutely gorgeous and shoots great.

I'm with Mec', I've tried just about all the top dawg 3pc longbows out there currently, and while I have a list of favorites, the one by far that has truly wowed me and has not been sold yet to try something else is the Tall Tines Stickflinger.  It is as quiet as a Hill style bow, fast as any hybrid, built top shelf, and the standard cut past center shelf makes for ease of tuning with carbon arrows, all that and the way he shapes his standard grip you can't hold the thing wrong.  Zero criticism from me.  Like I said, I could list a whole bunch that are awesome too, but for me so far the Stickflinger takes the cake.

Leon Stewart's 3-piece Slammer is a good one too. It is cut past center, radiused and very low to the hand. But the most impressive thing to me is the feel of the shot. It is THE most dead-in-the-hand bow at the shot that I have ever felt. Personally, I like the looks of the take-down 2-piece longbows better, like the Wes Wallace Royal. But the Stewart has more reflex in the limbs and really performs. Good luck, Jeff

Thanks for the input fellas.
I was gonna go with a mild R&D, but most of the bowyers recommended at least a 64” bow for my draw, which is a consistent 29.5
I ask in another post about mild RD bows, but I’m going to stick with a little more aggressive style so I can stay with a 60 to 62 inch bow. Probably leaning more toward a 62”

Another one that I'd be checking out is Wagstaff Archery (along with Primal Tech). If Kent at Timber Ghost was still making hybrid limbs (hint, hint, Kent) I'd DEFINITELY give that a hard look, too. His belly-mount design is great for those of us with longer draw lengths that don't want a longer overall length.

Leon Stewarts Slammer is nice and would be good with the 14 inch riser and limbs to make a 62 inch bow for your draw I believe.mine had the 16 inch riser and same limbs that would be used on the 14 inch riser and draw 29".Very solid shooter and dead in the hand.Have had quite a few 3 PC longbows and that bow was superb.

I shot Bians personel bow at Tall Tines.It had the checkered grip that was smaller than some of his  recurves I have had and lower in style.Loved that grip he had!!!It was the milder limb.Very nice!

I also liked my Morrison Shawnee riser with Carbon foam limbs alot!Not sure if thier available anymore?B riser D limbs or A riser D limbs.

Thiers alot of nice ones.Tough decisions.

I really like my 3pc pronghorn but for a more aggressive R/D my Stalker Coyote longbow fits that bill. Both are smooth drawing and quiet. Other fine bows have been mentioned but these are my favorites. There are definitely a lot of options and great bowyers to pick from.

I can't believe I forgot Rick Welch's "Dakota" bows! I had one for about a year & wouldn't hesitate to own another. It was indeed a fantastic bow!

I love my Kanatis so hopefully Jason will start building a three piece soon... fingers crossed!

Firefly (Jim Jones) makes a really nice one. These look and shoot great and seem to fly under the radar of the average trad shooter.

I've enjoyed shooting Pronghorn 3 pc bows, but when it comes to putting money down, I've gone with 2 pc bows...  4 of them and another on the way. I prefer the ease of assembly, no tools required, and same look/feel as a 1 pc when assembled. For me that means I'll actually break it down every once in a while and put it in my daypack for a mountain bike ride into a hunting spot.

I have had three takedown R&D longbows.
They were all ok. My favorite is my 62" Stickflinger. I have 49# and 55# limbs for it- it's the only one I currently own. I like the grip better on it for sure.

I know you asked for three piece suggestions  but I'll throw this out there.

Allen Boice lent his two piece Chief to me and that was a very nice bow also.  It is a connection hinge type.  Kind of nice that you don't need a tool of any kind to put it together.

I have two of his bows and really like them.
