Met the new owners at NABA  last week.  Same bowyer, same place, same great bows. We are lucky to have a USA company building bows.

I saw they were back up and running.  I agree it’s a good thing!  We really need companies like Martin and Bear I think.

I saw an address of Interlochen, Michigan.  Did they move?

I was a Martin dealer for a few years but when they switched back to the Damon Howatt name I would have people look at the bow and ask who that was.  The Damon Howatt is even less known among new traditional archers than Martin.  I talked to the Martin reps at the ATA show three times, begging them to advertise and help me with the name recognition issue but they had bigger fish to fry on the compound side.  I finally gave up and this week I opened Traditional Bowhunter Magazine to find an ad for DH on page 18.  But the ad gives an address of 1145 US 31, Interlochen, MI.  I am still trying to figure out what happened.

A friend told me that Damon Howatt production will continue to be in Washington but the compound production will move to Michigan and that the new owner is in Michigan.  I have yet to confirm this.
