SRF Bolt Length
« on: February 26, 2018, 04:11:00 PM »
Using sight mount E with the SRF site, there is not enough bolt threads to move it left to zero in. Some one said they replaced the bolt with a longer one. Does anyone know the steps to do this?? At the moment I have one mounted above flipper 2 rest so I could try it (works great) and one mounted with the E mount in the normal way but bolt is way too small for  trad bows to reach a good site in. THANKS---Greg

I agree that the bolt is too short. I am leaning towards getting a simple brass pin machined on the end of a longer bolt to help clear up the sight picture. I don't think it will be tough to run one up in a lathe.
