Hopefully, your string finger will recover completely, and you will then have the option in the future of shooting with either hand, which could come in handy at times. It will seem awkward at first, but you will come to like the flexibility, broken finger or not. Shooting both right and left handed is the best way to avoid the shoulder injuries that cut some of our archery careers short.
