Great video, I feel the same way as you and alot trad guys. I had good luck hunting with a compound for 20 years, some nice deer,but since making my own bows and arrows and hunting with my trad gear past 4 years, (1 deer and a few squirrels), more happy with a squirrel with my trad gear than a buck with a compound.

I have a bungy cord that is just the correct length. It has plastic hooks on the end. One on the top limb and one on the bottom and sling it over my back.
