Another way to make an easy string keeper is to take a 3" square piece of thin scrap leather, fold it in half and make a rounded cut wide at the bottom and tapered to the center fold at the top. Punch a 1/4" hole in the middle of the wide end. Run a bead of barge cement along the inside edge of both sides of your folded piece and stick them together. Run an eight inch piece of lacing through the hole you punched and thread both ends of the lacing through a 55mm decorative bead. To use the string keeper put the leather cup over your limb tip, put the leather tails and bead under your string and slide the bead up the lacing until the string is tight. Real easy and quick.
