Tied this knock point on my bow yesterday, I've only shot it a day but so far it is my favorite by a long shot. I tightened mine a little too much and it is hard to adjust, it will move, but not easily at all, that is my fault not the knot's. I fine tuned yesterday and my bow is shooting BBs with field tips and broadheads. With a little more testing if this knot stays put, which it seems to be, I won't use anything else.  Thanks, Chris

WOW!  Cool stuff Chris.
Yeah this knot can be really tricky at first and I was a little hesitant to post it, but guys been asking me about it.  I'm stoked that it's working.  Like I mentioned before, you'll either love or hate this knot.   :D

Have a great weekend!

Ryan , I've been playing with the double nocks and will be heading to the shop to install a couple adjustable string nocks. Good job on the video. Maxx

I just had to replace the string nocks on my Griz. I tried your method. All I kept hearing was "over the rainbow, through the rainbow" and it worked like a charm!!

Thanks Ryan.

I need to get some .030 braided serving line just for this.

Sounds like I'm in the market for some .030 braided material too, Bud - LOL. As you may have noticed, I use the double tied on string nocks (and have for years). I went away from double for awhile but came back to it about a year ago. Since i have been tying my own (and other's) on for some time, I stayed away from this video for awhile - couldn't stand the curiousity though - LOL. GREAT VIDEO, GREAT HOW-TO, Ryan, and it really looks like a much better and more uniform knot than the string of overhand knots (and super glue) I've used for years. Sometimes they don't want to break loose for adjusting, and I have to redo. I definitely am going to be practicing this and see if this ol' dog can learn (another) new trick. Great job, Ryan, Mahalo.

Tried your knot for a bottom knock and it works like a charm.
Thanks for posting.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Howdy Ryan,

Thanks for the tutorial video.  I see from your profile that you're a teacher.  That really comes through in the video.  Nice work.  I'm gonna try your cat whisker method next.  Hey, what type of goat is that in your profile?  Looks pretty wild.
