Takedown Longbow

I love my Morrison Dakota and want to find a comparable takedown longbow. I know the Shawnee is a great bow but I can't afford a $1000 bow at the moment. Anyway I am looking for a takedown with comparable performance in the hopes that I can use the same arrow setup and transition relatively easily between the two bows...I need something a little more convenient than a 60 inch longbow for travel purposes. Plus I want a great backup bow.
Fishing for ideas and opinions.
Thanks...Todd

Check out Strikerbows.com Rick is a great bowyer and lives and works up in Minster, Ohio. I believe he is a sponsor aswell. His takedown Longbow is very nice and comes in 58".

Lewishollowarchery.com- Perry Co. Ohio. Crooksville to be exact. I have one of his 3 piece longbows and absolutely love it. The price is right as well. Check them out. Chris is a stand up guy.

Lightning Longbows has a unique new t-d system, simply and foolproof, and little more than half the price of comparable Big Name bows ... but good luck finding their website, which is hiddon so very well as to explain why such a great bow at such a great price is so little-known. Worth digging for.

Lots of great bows available. We have the Firefly. Super smooth sweet shooters, good performers and priced well below what they're worth.
They start at $479, top of the line FX's run $529.
