Question about chundoo spine
« on: February 24, 2007, 02:06:00 PM »
I am buying a longbow from a friend. It is a Northern Mist 54#@28 or about 49# at my draw. I recently aquired some 55/60 chundoo shafts that were meant for a recurve that I am selling to get the longbow. My draw length is about an 1/8 of an inch shy of 27. I cut the chundoo's to 28 7/8 BOP. Will they work out of my longbow if I am using 160 grain Snuffers? I would really hate to get rid of them, they are really nice, but if they won't work then there is no sense in keeping them.
Just one more step please!

Arwin:
The depth of the shelf will be the deciding factor, if its center cut or slightly past they will be fine.

Thanks Bob! As I stated above I'd really hate to not use them, they're purty!
