Which part of the ring finger is it taking the skin off from? I'm guessing it's taking the skin off the side of the finger that's next to your pinky. If so, that's because when you draw the bowstring, the angle of the string changes and comes in contact with that exposed part of your finger, so that when you release, the string rubs your finger right there, taking off your skin. You might want to switch to a finger glove and see if that solves your problem. Or use a larger tab.
