Check out the targets I made...(New Associate Sponsor)
« on: March 09, 2007, 08:09:00 AM »
Like a fine cigar, everyone is rolled by hand. I am a new Associate Sponsor here. I will post some of these for sale over on the sponsor board if you guys are interested. I have been shooting a similar target everyday for about 18 months. These last a lot longer than the traditional foam targets. The one I have has been shot with everything imaginable and its still stopping arrows. Let me know what you guys think.

Slayer 1, These look good. What is the diameter and weight?

When are you going to bring one over so I can "evaluate" it?

Guys,I've had one of Scott's targets for almost 2 years now,and it's still going strong.

This thing will take a beating, carbon, aluminum, wood, field tips,broadheads,expandibles,compound,recurve,longbow,selfbow...................it just won't give up the ghost.Bet I have at least 4-5000 shots in mine now, nowhere near worn out,and that's just the first side.

Good luck Scott......

Those look great. I'll be watching for them on the Sponsor's Classifieds.

They are about 17" thick and about 22" to 24"  wide. They weigh about 20 pounds. Its a very sturdy target. I did not put a handle on these because a lot of guys like to roll it across the yard and shoot at it. Don I will bring one over to your shop next week.

Here is a picture of one I have been shooting for 18 months. Its a little thicker but it will give you an idea of the abuse it will take.

I have one of them and they are top notch targets.  I only have 300-400 shots in it since I just got it last weekend but I can see that it is going to last a very long time.

Hey Buck I got a deal on the material this time. I have about 20 or so that I am going to sell for $50.00 plus the shipping. I have only been selling these at the local shoots, so I am not sure what the shipping cost would be. I will post some for sale on the Sponsor board when I get home tonight. (Maybe I can estimate how much the shipping would cost then) I have 4 made up now with enough material to make up about 15 more.

Word of advice-

Better start looking for more material. That is a good price on target that will stand up. I think they will sell great. How about putting a flat rope type handle on it? It won't affect the rolling action and will be a big help when carrying.

What O.D. and depth will you make them to accomodate . . . [How well do they hold up against] two-bladed broadheads on small diameter carbon shafts?

What is the material?

Can you give me some idea of shipping for a target shown in first graphic to 59868, western Montana? For two targets?

How do you accept payment?

Any question I should have asked, but did not, please answer as though I asked.
