TERRY - THANKS

The angle your wife shot of you was just what I needed.  I have done all my learning from one DVD "Masters of the Barebow" and two short books.  I thought I had picked up quite a bit until I saw your video.

What I learned from you was holding the bow up into place before drawing.  The people I mocked from the "Masters" DVD don't do that; they raise the bow as they draw.  Also, some set then release while others draw and release more continuously like you.

When I tried to simulate you my shots and confidence improved immediately.  Really helped my concentration.

After doing so, I watched "Masters" again and found that some of them raise while they draw, others raise into place first like you.  Of course they are all good shots, but your style fit me the best.

Also, my wife can watch your video and then watch me from the same angle and critique me.  Of course my confidence drops when she tells me I need to suck in my gut like you do, and I tell her you're not sucking, you just don't have one.  Then she says, "whatever it takes, you just need to lose it if you're going to shoot like him".  Then she says she wants to marry you and we get in a fight.

On second thought, maybe you should just keep your video to yourself.   "[dntthnk]"

Seriously, Terry, thanks for taking an interest in guys like us.  I am looking forward to more if you do so.
