tab/tuning?
« on: April 24, 2007, 09:02:00 PM »
Should i break in my new tab(cavalier) before tuning arrows to my bow?
Would'nt my arrow tune differently once my tab is broke in?    Thank you. Steve.  :archer:

As long as you're consistent(grouping), go for it.
I bareshaft something about every day...it's and ongoing amusement...so have as much fun as you can stand.   :bigsmyl:

I like my Black Widow tabs.  :archer:

I should explain my situation more clearly. I have shot traditional very little, so im not grouping. Basically im starting from scratch. So do i buy arrows that "should" be close for my set up, and just work on my form first? Then worry about the best arrow for my set up after that? Thanks.  :archer:

Ybuck, if ya can tell me your set up and how many pounds your bow is at your draw, I can get ya darn close on the arrows ya need. EX. if your bow is 50#s at 28"s and ya draw 26"s, the poundage at your draw would be darn close to 44#s, also let me know the name of the bow you are shooting. Shawn

I'm going to be setting up a Hoyt Gamemaster II. 40# @ 28"(i have heard these bows can run around 5# above the marked draw weight?) My draw length is 28".
Thanks much Shawn.
