Switching from split to three under????
« on: May 24, 2007, 10:05:00 PM »
I just switched from split fingers to three under. I'm not sure what made me try three under but when I did it felt better and very soon my arrows were coming up and making good groups. My question is when shooting three under should I pull most of the weight with the middle finger or even across all three?

I have gone back to shooting my 43#er due to shoulder pains and have actually really enjoyed shooting it better then my 60#er. Much tighter groups too. Anyways, hope yall are having a good day, HH

No expert here, but i put even pressure on all three fingers. That works well for me. I hear ya on the 43#. It sure helps my form be consistant.  :archer:

Just to be the Devil's Advocate, I don't think it matters a great deal whether you pull evenly or with more pressure on one finger.  What does matter is that you consistently pull the same way each time.
