My 29" 2013's weigh about 410 gr. with a 100 gr. point and 3 5" fletch, so assuming about 25-30 gr. for the added 1.5" length I'd guess around 380-385 gr. for your setup.

TSP are you able to cleanly kill deer with your 2013's. I''m just trying to make sure my set up would be able to get the job done.

Sorry VinnieB but I only use 2013's for targets with a 46# bow, prefering 52-54# bows and heavier arrows for hunting.

But, if you haven't tried them yet wood makes an excellent hunting arrow.  With a 45# bow and 500-550 gr. wood arrows penetration on deer wouldn't be a problem at all and your bow would be nice and quiet.

If you want to stay with aluminum a 2016 might be a better choice than a 2013.  I know they fly fine off my 46#-54# bows.

Its surprising that your 45# bow will shoot 2117's well, Vinnie.  That arrow is very stiff for that bow weight.  They also generally weigh much more than 480 grains...more like 530-540 gr. for a standard length arrow with 125 gr. points.

But, if it works for you then thats what counts!
