After years (decades) of frustration with traditional archery your discussions in this forum has helped immeasureably with a breakthrough. Terry's clock diagram illustrating the proper shoulder alignment sparked the initial epiphany; my group spacing halved. Next, the constant harping regarding back tension finally perculated through my cranial bedrock and voila! halved again and consistancy improved dramatically. ( I am convinced that proper back tension makes for a much smoother "spontaneous" release). As importantly, when my group spacing suddenly goes to pot I know what the problem is and I know what I have to do to fix it. What a wonderful feeling! Thanks everyone.
