You can bet my daughters will not forget their Pa Pou's sacrifice. WW2, 25 th Infantry Division, 2 years infantry, 2 years artillery. Wounded twice. I can't even begin to convey the sacrifice he made. The stories he told me as a kid... Jawge

My daughters made a point to wish their grandpa a happy Veteran's Day yesterday. It's good that the youngsters of today view our soldiers as heroes.

Amen to that!
My uncle fought with the Americans in Bataan at WWII.His right hand was forever shaking due to a shrapnel wound to his shoulder. He was lucky he had full documentation of his efforts and received pension from the USA but some war veterans from that era are still fighting to get recognition from the US gov't and most have only a couple of years in them.
always loved to hear of my uncle's war stories.
Happy Veteran's Day to you all.

My mom said that Pop cried when I called him to thank him for his service yesterday.  I did too after I hang up the phone and sat at my office thinking of what so many have given of themselves.

TRhank you to all the men and women who have or continue to serve.

My Poppa is a Vietnam Vet and I am proud of Him!

Thanks to all veterans, no matter what the conflict.  Every freedom that we enjoy has been fought for, bought and paid in blood.

I for one will never forget.
Well, who'da thunk it!
