Tuesday is Howard Hill's birthday so in recognition of that I'm giving away a Martin J-9 fletcher, fletch tape and enough 5" feathers to do your first dozen.

Rules:

1) Please only sign-up if you have not yet learned to fletch

2) The winner needs to post pics of their first fletched set

3) The J-9 is to never be sold or traded. It must be passed on the same way as is being done with this drawing and with the same rules.

I was given this fletcher this spring when I learned to fletch by 4runr and would like it to continue on in the same tradition.

If you can live with these rules and meet the criteria please sign-up and I'll draw a winner Tuesday 11/13 around 9PM eastern.

Thanks for the opportunity

Ive been wanting to learn how to do it for the longest time and now after harvesting my first traditional deer I have a sudden urge to delve into the sport even more!

And boy those rules sure sound good!

I'm just shot my first trad deer with a broadhead I sharpened but..not an arrow I fletched. Learning the art of arrow building is next on my list!! I'm totally in for the contest!

Very kind offer Steve. But(always a but as COB says) then the person would need nocks, points and a taper tool. If folks want to throw those in or the winner is willing to get those, we'll add your shafts into the kitty, otherwise it may be better to do a separate giveaway for those so someone who can put them to use gets them. Fair enough?

Vermonster13 gave me the go ahead to include some wraps in the giveaway.  So the winner can have any wrap he/she desires.  Here is a pic of some I fletched up for my Brother In Law today.

Vermonster, please add my name into the drawing.  I have been wanting to learn since the trad bug bit me.  Thank you for this opportunity.

I have tried it using other peoples stuff with little or no success. I have even tried to help do some, but having the equip. to keep at trying would be great! I like the rules, sounds good to me. Unless my previous experience precludes me, I'm in.

Please toss my name in the hat.

I'm looking forward to building my first dozen arras to go with my new Turkey Creek.

Thanks!
