Kick Method!..thats what a gentleman by name of Dan Quillian use to teach...Deflection off the Riser!...Here's my personal cheat sheet for Easy arrow tuning...I can shoot 3 different sizes ( 2317,2315,2219) bullet holes through paper

1. I shoot 1% top finger ( on a split grip)
2. I make my site window past center 1/8. Side restplate pushes it to center
3. My arrow sits 1/4"-3/8" high off the shelf. ( i make a homemade feather rest to elevate it) really gives me a clean launch
4.  I'm always conscious of my brace height..1/8 lower or higher will ceate the wiggle

Spine is part of the equation but bow setup as OL hinted is probably more important
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.
